Billing questions
What counts as one drawing?
One credit generates one figure from your text, such as FIG. 1 or FIG. 2. Regenerating a figure from the text uses one credit. Editing boxes, arrows, numerals and layout never uses a credit, and neither do exports.
Do credits expire?
Credits from packs never expire. Plan credits are added each month while the plan is active, and unused plan credits roll over: they stay in your account, including after you cancel.
What does the free tier include?
5 free drawings when you sign in with Google. Accounts created with an email code start with no free drawings. Full editor and numeral cross-check; exports are watermarked previews. Paid credits export clean filing sheets and a cross-check report.
How does this compare with an outside draftsperson?
Simple utility drawings typically cost $25–$150 a drawing and take 2–5 business days. PatentQuill costs $0.33–$1.00 a drawing and changes take seconds.
